Certificate IV in Leisure & Health (CHC43415)

CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health for individuals who are interested in working in residential facilities and/or in community agencies and day centres. Leisure and Health workers will assist with design, implementation and evaluation of health and leisure activities and programs for clients in one or more sector areas. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to gain employment in a wide variety of organizations using your Nationally Recognized Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.


 This course will take approximately 8-12 months to complete. This timeframe includes classroom learning and four weeks of work placement. On average a learner should allocate 25 hours per week to learning and assessments.

All JTI students use blended modes of learning which include:
•    Classroom based learning (face-to-face)
•    Online learning (through our learning management system and online classes)
•    Work Placement

The compulsory requirement for this qualification is 120 hours of work placement. Delivery of work placement hours are determined by the facility and your specialisation.
