Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115 )
The Diploma of Nursing is for students who are pursuing a career in the Health Care industry in the following sectors: Acute, Medication, Community Health, Mental Health and Aged Care. Upon successful course completion students will be awarded the Diploma in Nursing (Enrolled Nursing), which will enable them to seek registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and practise as an Enrolled Nurse in the Health Care sector across Australia.
The course covers the following areas:
• Aged Care
• Mental Health
• Subacute (Medication)
• Primary Health
• Acute (Diabetes)
The duration of the Diploma of Nursing is 18 months full-time study including classes, lab and clinical placement (400 hours).
All JTI students use blended modes of learning which include:

Classroom based learning
(face-to-face theory and simulation)
- ·
Online studies (self-study).
- Work Placement
The compulsory requirement for this qualification is 400 hours of work placement.
Government funding is available for eligible students.
